Our Story
Here at Precious Thoughts we are a small team of people who have lived life’s experiences, attended numerous funerals, lost family members and therefore fully understand the value and benefits of what is being offered to you.
Having attended many funerals when the allocated family member has tried to read out the eulogy but emotions have got the better of them, is very sad for all concerned. The valuable words and memories about the deceased are lost in this process, which is such a shame.
We have often thought how powerful and moving the ceremony would have been if we could have heard the deceased speak their own eulogy, making it so very memorable and personal.

Our underlying ethos is to provide a trustworthy, secure and sensitive website for our clients to use, in the comfort of their own home and make it as easy as possible to complete.

Precious Thoughts was created from something deeply personal.
I know first-hand how painful it is to lose someone you love. Grief does not arrive in one form, it changes shape, it surprises you, and it stays with you in ways you never expect. And yet, within that pain, memories become everything.
After experiencing loss close to me, I felt a clear sense of purpose. I wanted to create something that would bring comfort rather than complication. Something gentle. Something kind. Something that would help people leave behind their story in their own words, in their own way.
Precious Thoughts exists to offer peace of mind. To make the process simple and thoughtful. To make it human.
We are not here to overwhelm you. We are here to support you, quietly and respectfully in preserving memories and creating a legacy that reflects who you truly are.
Because how we are remembered matters.

Precious Thoughts became personal to me through loss.
As a widower, I understand in the deepest way how life can change in a single moment. When you lose the person you planned your future with, the world feels unfamiliar. In those early days, you are simply trying to hold yourself together — and at the same time, you are trying to hold your family together too.
Grief is not practical. It does not wait for the “right” time. Yet funerals require decisions, words, strength. I know how heavy that responsibility can feel, especially for children who are grieving a parent.
If Precious Thoughts had been available to us, my children and I would have used it and valued it greatly. To hear the voice of the person you love. To receive their words, chosen by them. To carry something lasting and personal beyond the day of the funeral — that would have meant more than I can explain.
Precious Thoughts offers something powerful in its simplicity. It allows you to leave behind more than memories. It allows you to leave reassurance, warmth and your own story, told your way.
Because while none of us welcome funerals, we can choose what remains afterwards.
And what remains can stay with those we love forever.
